“What a school thinks of its library is a reflection of what it thinks of education.” Harold Howe
The School library forms a valued central resource, providing study & reference facilities for the whole school. It offers the students the opportunity to discover the enchanting world of books.
In the library there are approximately 8000 resources organized in accordance with the Dewey Decimal Classification System. There are 5 main sections: non-fiction, fiction, reference, resource books and magazines & newspapers. A regular programme of information skills for Grades III-V operates within the academic timetable itself. In addition to issue of books for entertainment students are instructed to locate and utilize information in reference materials also.
Children in lower grades are initiated to the joy of reading through the library books circulated in their class itself.
The Library endeavours to serve all members of the school community, to satisfy the desire for knowledge and to fulfill the requirements of the curriculum.
